Havatec is the worldwide supplier of grading, bunching and handling machines for the cut flower industry. Havatec delivers turn-key cut flower projects based on low, mid and high tech concepts. These various levels of technique provide solutions for any flower company and yields high returns. Havatec has specialized herself in mechanical solutions combined with in-house software development. The methods of grading are x-ray based techniques, color cameras and infra-red rays. The necessary science is deep rooted within the Havatec personnel, providing the distinctive innovation urge Havatec has become known for. Some of the cutting flowers that are processed on the Havatec concepts are: Chrysanthemum, Sprayrose, Gerbera, Tulip, Alstroemeria, Carnation, Zantedeschia (Calla), Lily and many more.

We offer all kinds of solutions:

Sorting

The stems are sorted by length, thickness and flower height with optical, X-Ray or infra red camera's.

Bunching

Flowers are automatically bunched with a preset amount without any quality loss.

Bouquet making

A variety of Havatec machines enables the automatic bunching of mono or twisted bouquets.

Planting bulbs

Semi or automatic planting lines for bulbs in pots or trays.

Inserting

Semi automatic lines for inserting gerbera's in automatically folded boxes or cards.

Debulbing

Automatic debulbing of tulips resulting in maximum length without damaging the stem.

Fusarium detection

Selecting and removing bulbs with Fusarium at high speed with an X-Ray system.

Belt systems

Transport of various product and materials such as harvesting systems and waste disposal.

About Havatec

It was in the year 2000 that Havatec started with the development of machines for the mushroom sector. Not long after that Havatec developed an advanced machine for the grading and bunching of flower bulbs using X-ray techniques. As from 2003, Havatec has an extensive range of machines for automated grading and bunching of flowers, for packaging flowers in boxes.
